“Vestibolo” is a collection of recordings that date back to a period of sentimental unsteadiness and fragility for Leonardo Martelli, showcasing the Italian producer’s genre-fluid approach to electronic music.

Filled with murky beats and bludgeoning drums, mind-bending use of vocal samples and a mutated sense of melody, these twelve tracks nod both towards Martelli’s open-ended spirit and his creative uncertainty at the time, all the while challenging the listener with a sense of precariousness and urgency.

Leonardo Martelli (b.1994) lives and works in Foligno, Italy. His first encounters with electronic music occurred in local vendors Serendipity Club and Dancity Festival, whilst his first few releases on labels like New York Haunted, Antinote, Mixed-Up, Black Angus Records and Lost Dogs Entertainment reflect a deep emotion that ranges from techno, electro, house and new wave sounds.
